I have been crying wolf that as a society we have become insensitive. See the Jaipur blasts and so many poeple lost their lives and except few concerned citizens, all of us take the incident as incident and foagotten them. News faded away and so as our memory. When I hear the heart rendering stories of kids losing their fathers, fathers their kids and husband their wives , God what they have done. They are innocent people and are subject to such a brutality. I shudder at my heart. Hey ! so many innocent lives have gone and we are not doing anything on our part. I know it is the duty of the Government to take care of safety aspect of its subjects but in this fast paced world we need to do our bit. We need to be vigilent and we need to report every suspicious activity or object , Then only we will be able to save ourselves, our kids,  parents and fellow citizens. We need  to keep a watch - that doesnt mean that we should be suspicious and act like big brother watching. No we should respect the privacy of the fellow citizens and at the same time we need to ask pertinent questions when we confront strangers or suspicious looking people. Our intelligence agencies seems to have lost their ability to track counter intelligence and with such a frequency terrorist organizations hitting the citizens of this country and we remained just hapless citizens. We need to pressurise the govt, administration and police to do their job with alacrity. We,  peace loving citizens dont deserve this mayhem. I think we need to have separate laws to deal with Terrorists. They should be dealt with immediately and ofcouse there should be safeguards lest our police and governments misuse the same laws to cowdown and harrass common citizens and opposition. There is a need to have strong federal agency and law and order should be shifted to Concurrent list if not central list. I think some agency or persons or department should be made accountable for this mayhem then only people start working. Let there be federal agency which should have special force to deal with such things. We need to merge all intelligence gathering departments and have one agency so that they are responsible. This will also remove turf wars. A strong federal agency to deal with Terrorist menace is absolute necessity.

Hey I some times wonder what am I doing ? Just doing my job and go back eat, read and sleep - thats. all. Is that the life ? Then what else ? Some time few questions like this really made me think and wonder whether I had gone bonkers. Dont you feel we need to do something or we are destined to do something and perhaps that is the reason why we were born in this wolrd. But some how things are not clear. Even though I have chosen few projects like  building and running OLD AGE HOME for hapless old people after my retirement. Thats  some time later. Looking at the misery and helpless of of old, needy and children, I squirm in my heart. Except giving some charity for organisations like CRY , what am I doing to alleviate misery of those persons. Look at papers- minor girls raped and killed and some kids were killed for few thousands of rupees. How dastardly act is that.  It seems, our society lost its sensitivity. If it hasn't  perphas we would have protested and really made authorities do something. We also lost of sensitivities and we no longer protest or do anything and just accepting meekly may one land up in such a situation where we feel so bad about ourselves for not doing what is expected  of societal human beings. Please educate the people and make them aware that they have every right to live in this world with dignity and no body can take away this right. All administration and police are there to help the people and they were paid with the money we pay as taxes. Demand your rights and let the others be made accountable what they done or not done.

I am sure  everyone dreams that his life should be like a song. It has to be nice, wonderful, soulful and yet romantic. But how many of these wishes come true ? I always felt that my life is mine and I should live the way I want  but it is easy said than done. Society, customs, friends and relatives every one will come your way and you many not be able to do  what you really want to do. I want my life's song should be sweet, free and with abandon. I want it in technicolur with 70mm projection but alas what I got is an  art film which is very realistic and black and white. We are born free and why cant we life free ? We live only once and we should live in style - thats how I feel and encourage outhers to live their lives to hilt. I want it to be rocking but responsibilities and other thinks make to mellow down and live the way all others are living. you need to have a great zest to live and I am sure  I am trying to increase that quotient.

Some where in this changing material world things have changed  a lot - for worse and Life certainly is. Life become complicated. I wish life to be simple, uncomplicated and one has to live with happiness and freedom. What is the true meaning of this life ? In my own view, true meaning of life is to live happily, help others and useful to the society. We have forgotten the basic tenets of life. We stopped trusting people and we suspect everything and everyone. Its becoz may be our environment has made our hearts polluted. We are unable to see the people as they are we are seeing them through coloured glasses. Perhaps trust has gone out of our lives. We are scared to talk to strangers  ( not in internet ) but physically or give lift to stranger in middle of the road at night. Relationships which are spice of life are standing on weak foundations.Our inability to extend our hand of friendship to others with our preconceived notions have resulted in transactional relationships. We stopped enjoying the fruits of friendship. Perhaps the sweetest and most gratifying act is to extend hand of friendship and inturn get the smiling face. I always wish and do hope sincerly if I could make difference in atleast one person's life my life is made.

The greatest virtue of human being is forgiveness and compassion. But some how both these virtues disappeared from human conscience. What happenned to us ? Why did we become so much selfish and indulgent. Why did we all leave those great virtues which came as legacy to this nation. To be Indian means - a human being from great land with lots virutes. If we look back at our history and if we had seen the assimilation of those invaders in indian demography it gives us great understanding about our country and great virtues. Shall we try to do something about these simple virtues which are necessary for human being to exist as human beings ? please do your bit. In the recent years one thing really made my heart happy. Its none other than Priyanka Gandhi and her gesture of meeting the person who killed her father and coming to terms about the loss she suffered is one of the greatest act. Can we emulate such things ? If not that in our own way shall we do something ?  Please do act.

Truth about life is we never knew what will happen tomorrow yet we are so greedy and selfish that we have forgotten the humanity. We want everything for ourselves but doesnt care whether other too might need it. Our sensitives lot their sense and nothing really moves our heart - be it bleeding person on road, Shivering old woman, Begging old man of 90s. We become insensitive and what we call it unto ourselves.Having fully known well death is inevitable and we cant take whatever we earn still yearn to have more. What are we doing ? There is nothing wrong in saving for future but do something to the society which has given you so much.
